The Blue Ships

After the death of Bimear Sasharr and Kigäli Ebärat in 1291 PT, council was held between the nations of the East, at the Council of Mayardalayne as to how to proceed in regards the Western Continent. It was decided to form a peaceful trading ship to make the passage between the two continents. After much planning, organization and shipbuilding, the Blue Ship expedition was ready to embark in 1296PT. The first ship brought ambassadors seeking to make peace and treaties of trade with the monarchs of the Western Countries.

It was not until 1320PT that the first sttlers from the western Continent were allowed on board the Blue Ship to return to the Eastern Continent to make a new life for themselves. After that a limited number of passangers were allowed on board in each yearly sailing. While there were allowed other ships, such as minor trading ships, passanger cargos and mail transport over the years, the Blue Ship has maintain pre-eminence and has a stunning record that has yet to see a ship lost. This stability has been attributed to enchantments and charms worked by the Suoro Mayadrihn that holds strings on the peace of the world's nations.
